Welcome! I’m Megan, an airline customer service agent, mom of two, avid traveler, and outdoor enthusiast based in Northwest Montana. I’m a big fan of sharing aviation industry knowledge, budget-friendly travel ideas, DIY and thrifty travel hacks, creative ways to keep the kids content on flights, adventurous family-friendly destinations, and helping parents travel better and easier with kids.
I created this blog to help other families prepare for air travel and wanders in the woods with kids, to share my own family travel and outdoors experiences, and to have a creative space for my writing and photography. I’ve worked in commercial aviation since 2016, years before I ever had kids of my own, and I quickly learned tricks of the trade to help make traveling with kids easier. I put these methods to the test when I became a mother, and I continue to hone my family travel skills and share what works (and what doesn’t) as my kids grow up. You’ll also find a slice of our “real life” on here too. Not every adventure goes according to plan, but that’s part of the beauty of parenting.
